Sadie's Summer Adventures

Happy fall y'all!  I can't believe summer is over.  I hope you enjoyed it as much as little Sadie has.  This post is going to be a bit of a summer recap.  So, fasten your seat belts, here we go!

 Now that Sadie's a bit older play dates have become more common.  Here's Sadie with Avery, Trisha's daughter.   Sadie is 8 months old here and Avery is 10 weeks old.

Trisha and I have been friends since 5th grade.  She's also my awesome hairstylist.  Check her out, you won't be disappointed.

Sadie also got to meet her cousin Yohali for the first time who was visiting from Mexico.  Boy did Sadie take a liking to her right away!

And what would a summer be without splashing around in the pool?

Another one of her favorite pastimes is bike riding.

Saturday mornings Mom gets to sleep in and Papi and Sadie hang out.  Sometimes they watch cartoons or Powerblock TV (MuscleCar, Xtreme 4 x 4, Trucks!, and HorsePower) - we'll see how long that lasts. And sometimes they dance.  This morning they had a photo shoot!

I took this picture one morning before breakfast.  She looks so precious.  And look at her beautiful eyelashes!  Such a sweet girl.

 My parent's celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this summer.  Whoop whoop!  We were all wondering if we'd get another surprise sibling added to our little family.  ;)

It's amazing to see how much Sadie has changed just over the summer.  She looks so "little" in the first few pictures and now my girl is less than a month away from being ONE!

So although it's sad to see summer go, fall is here and it's my favorite time of year.  I love the sounds, sights and smells of fall.  I can't wait to check everything off my Fall Bucket List:

Go on a hay ride
Have a photo shoot in a leaf pile
Enjoy a bonfire with smores
Go to a pumpkin patch
Trick-or-treat
Carve pumpkins
Drink fancy coffee drinks (pumpkin spice latte anyone?)
Go apple picking
Buy a new sweater
